I’m reverting back to my teenybopper phase for a minute. I got to looking around youtube and I came across some videos from one of my favorite “boy bands” from 7 or 8 years ago (boy, do I feel old, haha). I don’t know if anybody remembers Dreamstreet or not, but i LOVED them. I found one of their videos and I remember ALL of the lyrics, that’s how much of a teenybopper I was. I guess a little bit of the teenybopper-ness will always stay with me, haha. As I was watching the video, I was thinking about how young they were and I got to wondering about if any of them were still around doing solo stuff and whatnot. I know Jesse McCartney’s still around but I wanted to know about Greg, Matt, Frankie, and Chris. I found Chris, Frankie’s and Greg’s myspaces. Frankie’s doing solo stuff and the songs he has on his page are really good. He has a really nice voice and he’s not too bad looking either (heh) and he’s only a couple years older than me. I was looking through Greg’s myspace and he formed a band called Raposo (which is his last name). I really like their music too and Greg’s also a couple years older than me. Chris’ music on his page is ok, but I was never a big fan of his anyway. I couldn’t find anything about Matt though. I’m sure everybody knows who Jesse is, seeing as he’s a big teen heartthrob right now. I like him, but not a big fan of his music. They all have really grown up since 2000/2001, it’s craaaaaazy.

Last week was awesome. I helped at a youth event at church for 4 days. In the process, I had a lot of fun, learned some new worship songs, heard 2 cool speakers, met 5 great guys and helped them sell their CDs and shirts. The Riverside Worship Project is one of my favorite bands, they’re so nice and very talented. This was definitely a cool experience that I won’t soon forget.
